Project Brief

Nestled in the serene landscape of Agni, Corfu, our latest villa embodies modern ecological design in harmony with nature. Built with sustainable materials and energy-efficient systems, this villa seamlessly integrates with its surroundings, capturing breathtaking sea views and natural light through expansive windows and open-plan spaces.

Each element, from the green roofs to the solar-powered infrastructure, reflects our commitment to eco-friendly living without compromising luxury and comfort. This project stands as a testament to our dedication to creating innovative, environmentally responsible homes that honor the beauty of Corfu.

1. Design & Layout

Orientation: Optimize the villa’s placement for natural light and ventilation. Position living spaces to face the sea, ensuring panoramic views.

Open Plan: Incorporate an open-plan design with seamless indoor-outdoor transitions. Large sliding glass doors and terraces can enhance this connection.

Local Architecture: Blend traditional Corfiot elements like tiled roofs or stone facades with modern design for a harmonious look.

2. Materials

Sustainable Choices: Use locally sourced materials such as stone, wood, and lime plaster to minimize the carbon footprint.

Energy-Efficient Windows: Opt for double-glazed windows to maintain thermal efficiency without obstructing views.

Natural Insulation: Use eco-friendly insulation materials like cork or sheep wool.

3. Energy Efficiency

Solar Panels: Integrate photovoltaic panels for electricity and solar water heaters.

Passive Cooling: Design for cross-ventilation and use shading devices like pergolas, overhangs, or wooden louvers.

Smart Systems: Include energy-efficient appliances and a home automation system for lighting and HVAC control.
